Tooth loose because of braces?

My tooth is loose (one of my canines) because of braces. They're moving too fast or something. It's not SUPER loose, but it wiggles. Everytime I bite down, it moves. Is this supposed to happen? What do I do?

It's normal. Just let the orthodontist know so he doesn't tighten too much or he can loosen it a bit. Don't use that side of mouth to chew until he can adjust it.
Reply:They are going to be loose, it's not a problem unless your orthodontist is moving your treatment too fast. Make sure to have a panoramic x-ray taken to monitor the roots of these teeth if you feel this is the case.

Otherwise, just go easy on it, eventually the bone and tissue around the tooth will adapt.

If you're in severe pain or there's a lot of bleeding, call your orthodontist. Little pain- take whatever you normally take for pain/headache.
