Why do I dream my teeth are falling out?

At least once a week I have dreams that I have a loose tooth, a tooth that crumbles in my mouth, or a tooth that falls out. I often wake up and have to check my teeth. It has made me very nervous about my teeth falling out.

Why do I dream my teeth are falling out?
rotting teeth, teeth come out means death. Loose teeth mean sickness. So you will probably find out about someone who is either sick or dying
Reply:Ohhhhh i have these dreams often too, its really freaky, look forward to finding out why....
Reply:u need to go to the dentist
Reply:you might want to make a quick stop at your dentist sometime soon.you know...just to be safe =D SMILE!! But not too hard, I would want a tooth to chip!
Reply:you might be scared to get old:P
Reply:I've had these dreams too; the following link has some intesting explanations:

Reply:I don't know exactly but I'll bet it is the same reason I dream of losing mine. It's a real drag isn't it. It always happens when you have to speak to someone and you open your mouth and loose teeth roll out. Then I can't smile for the rest of the entire night and I have to make new arrangement in all the remaining dreams I have that night. What a drag.
Reply:dreammoods.com has information about this specific dream. It seems to be very common among people.

Reply:It's a classic "insecruity" dream. Usually you will have dreams like this if you are worried about change, feeling guilty about something or generally under stress. Here are a few examples of when you might get this dream:-

you owe money.

you are moving house soon.

you are between jobs, or have been offered a new opportunity and are considering taking it.

Don't worry about it, it is one of the most common dreams people get. I used to get it a lot when I was at University and never going to lectures :)
Reply:i had that dream too ! but my qwhole mouth was so fragile i coudlnt touch my m outh apparently. and i weoke up but my teeth were fine.
Reply:You might need to take better care of them.
Reply:Dreams process our waking experiences. Do you feel guilty about your level of oral hygiene? Flosssing once and brushing twice a day should suffice.
Reply:u hav bad teeth
Reply:Well I read in a magazine that when you dream that your teeth fall out, it's a sign that you feel like people aren't listening to your thoughts and opinions and you want to be heard.

But it could mean anything.
Reply:teeth are ours but separate from us - we have to take care of them. In dreams teeth are possessions, feelings or our children. We are afraid of losing them. Look to conflict with children, fear off loss of possessions or inexpressed feelings.
Reply:Its probably just telling you to take good care of your teeth.
Reply:I've had them too. it doesn't mean your teeth are gonna fall out tho!

teeth falling out : personal affairs are brutally discussed by your close neighbors.

And crumbling: do exercises to relax your jaw while on alert for enemies.

being loose: your inner anger has pushed someone away.

SO, someone's talking **** about you cuz they don't like you anymore since you've possibly pushed them away somehow.

Can you relate?
Reply:I, too, have this dream, although the loss of teeth is progressive for me. I've lost six teeth so far in these dreams, so if I had the dream again, I'd start with six missing teeth.

I'd say that your dream is due to stress about things you are not paying attention to. Unpaid Bills, homework, tasks at work that you are putting off, chores that you are avoiding, people you are avoiding, etc...

Bite the Bullet (you'll need strong teeth, heh heh...) and get some of the things you need to do done.

I found that unpaid bills and overdue library books tended to coincide with my tooth loss dreams.
