Loose tooth?

I'm 15, and I have a loose tooth... is this unhealthy? The tooth is reasonably small, I believe it is still a baby tooth... and I think it's a bi-cuspit...?

Any help?

Loose tooth?
A "bi-cuspid" is know as a premolar...so if you count back from your left front central tooth, it would be 4 and 5. These are permanent teeth, so it is probably not the one that is loose.

I am guessing that it is your canine that is loose. (The sharp vampire tooth)This is usually the last tooth in your primary dentition that you loose, next to your second molar.

I actually had to have my canines pulled because my permanent canines were impacted...this was at age 15. So, I highly doubt that you are loosing an "adult" tooth...this would require bone loss...which is unlikely at your age.

I would suggest calling your dentist, because, like in my situation, your permanent canine could be impacted...don't freak out, it's not a big deal.
Reply:You should have all ready lost all of your baby teeth. You should go see the dentist to see if he/she would be able to save it.
Reply:Hard to tell from description.... go see your dentist.
Reply:hard to decide from your vague description
Reply:you cannot have a bicuspid, may be your bicuspid is erupting in the place of the baby molar. Bicuspid is a permanent tooth, there is no baby bicuspid. You dont have to worry about it, if you can pull it your self it will be great.
Reply:Sounds to me likes it's a primary (baby) tooth coming out and the permanent tooth is coming into place.

Relax, let nature take it's course and when this "bi-cuspit" tooth becomes real loose you can "spit" it out!

You have a totally normal situation, good luck!
