I knocked my tooth loose!!!!!!!!!?

I knocked my tooth loose and i asked me aunt (shes a dentist person that like help (assistant)) and she said it will tighten back up, but to watch for discoloration. I'm still scared somethings wrong (it happened today) but i am deathly afraid of docs. Is there anyone that knows any thing about knocking teeth loose and when will the soreness go away








***by the way i have a dental cleaning appointment Thurs. Will they do anything to my looses tooth

Your auntie is right, listen to her. Make sure you tell the dr. that this happened when you go for your regular appt. What happens is that when the tooth becomes loose it has a tendency to float arount in the gum. The discoloration means that the tooth may not make it and die. The discoloration will show yellow or begin to turn black. It takes a little time for a loosened tooth to tighten up again but don't worry it's not that easy for it to fall out. This is personal experience speaking.

Reply:you need to get that fixed quickly. tell the dentist at ur appointment and btw ur aunt is stupid, it wont tighten bac up
Reply:it will tighten back up because when people get like braces it loosens all there teeth and they tighten back up in their new place, so no worrys, just dont thrust your toungue against it too much or it will stay loose
