About what month are they done doing this?
Do dogs loose all their puppy teeth? Even the back ones?
Yes, all their teeth fall out and are replaced by adult teeth. This process should be over by 7 months. Make sure to provide plenty of chewtoys some soft, some hard, so that your puppy has a good chance to lose them the right way, as if they don't fall out, you're looking at a vet bill to have them removed.
Reply:Yes they lose all their deciduous teeth and usually by about 5 months. Some are on occasion 'retained' and can be removed by your vet if they don't fall out by 6-7 months.
Reply:Usually about 4 - 5 months they begin losing their baby teeth. It's rare that you'll ever see them laying around though. My dogs usually ate theirs. We've seen a couple around the house, though.
Yes, they lose all of them (their 'milk' teeth as they are commonly called), even the ones in the back. Ouch! They're sharp! Make no wonder momma doesn't want to nurse the puppies when they start hitting 4 weeks old!
Reply:I haven't noticed any of my puppys teeth that have fallen out by my friends puppy kept dropping hers every where.
Reply:Yes, in about 5 months.
Reply:my pit/chow lost his puppy teeth at 5 months, it was funny when he first started he was walking around like he was holding it in his mouth then i would ask him what he was eating and he would come up and spit his tooth in my hand
Reply:Hi, yes puppies lose all their puppy teeth including
the back ones.
Reply:Yes they do, theres also no set time limit on when they lose them. My jack russell was still losing his baby teeth at gone two years! You'll find them in the carpet and some you'll never find, one of life's great mysteries ha ha, but they will all come out, even the back ones. When my dogs were teething i gave them raw carrots that had been kept in the fridge, lovely and cold for their hot little gums. Its the same for pups as it is for human babies - they both get sore gums and faces, their temperatures can go up a bit and they get short tempered! Poor little soldiers.
