Is it better to let a loose tooth get out by itself or pull it out?

my little sister has a loose tooth and i dont want her to have crooked teeth because money for braces so is it better for it to get out by itself or pull it out

Is it better to let a loose tooth get out by itself or pull it out?
Get your dad to do it, thats the fastest and easiest way.
Reply:Give her an apple, that will do the trick...
Reply:i dont think it really matters dont pull it intill its like its gum string it won't hurt as much pull your teeth or letting it fall out wont change how her teeth will grow in .
Reply:If that baby tooth is already loose, just let nature take its course. Over the next few weeks it should wiggle more and more, until it pops out on its own.

Make sure your parents are ready to fund the tooth fairy. Back when I was a kid, the going rate was a quarter for every baby tooth I put under my pillow.. Don't know how much it is these days with inflation and all. :-D
Reply:If it is too loose from its gums, it is better to pull it out as it is harmless and not so painful. Else in her night sleep if it falls there is a danger the tooth may get swallowed and could be more problemetic.
Reply:I personally pulled out 4 of my own tooths at the age of 11-13 and right now, the only crooked tooth I have is the one the dentist pulled out for me. The answer for this depends, like if the new tooth is visible or growing sideways yet. For now, I would say, just pull that sucker out of its socket.
Reply:If the tooth is loose enough to pull it out, then you can pull it out if the permanent tooth is visible. If it is still firm in the gum, don't pull it. If you pull a tooth that isn't ready to come out that means that the permanent tooth isn't in the place it should be. If you pull it, there will be a space. That space can "fill in" by the tooth behind it drifting forward. When a dentist pull as tooth due to it being decayed and the permanent tooth is not near eruption, they place a device know as a space maintainer around the tooth that can drift. This device keeps the other tooth from drifting so that the permanent tooth can erupt.
