Reply:They may want to pull the baby tooth to make room for the new tooth.
Reply:It's very common for premature adult teeth to errupt. They won't do anything at this time. In due time the baby teeth will come out allowing the adult tooth to come in. Teeth grow up and should right itself, however, later in life he may need braces. If the tooth isn't causing any problems eating or painful, they will let nature take it's course. The natural position of all teeth is co-dependent, they lean on each other and the thrust of the tongue will push the tooth in proper position or as close as possible. At that time the dentist may need to recommend braces, etc...Don't worry, this is quit common.
Reply:don't worry

tooth growth varies a lot - and by the way, unlike quite a few people seem to think, "tooth age" (i.e. the age that would be deducted from the teeth that are growing / have been lost) is NOT correlated to "bone age", i.e. the real physical age. So a kid who gets adult teeth early is NOT a kid who will grow less - and the reverses also is not true.

It seems likely that your dentist will recommend to leave things alone, wait for the milk tooth to fall, probably wait for other nearby milk teeth to have fallen. And then he'll probably suggest some orthodontics in order to put the "crazy" tooth (or teeth?) back in line.

but again, don't worry
Reply:I had problems like this with both my children. One just couldn't handle the idea of pulling the tooth out even when it was loose. They were horribly crooked, yet as she grew the teeth straightned out about 95% on their own. She eventually had to have 2 teeth pulled because her mouth was small. The same happened with my other child except she didn't need any pulled. Neither required braces either but that would have been what came next.
Reply:I'll tell you what they will do. They will pull the tooth that the adult tooth is suppose to replace. It won't hurt you son, they will numb him and simply pull the tooth. I had the same thing done several years ago....... so I wouldn't worry, this is normal for quite a few children. He will probably have to have braces to pull the adult tooth down, but don't sweat it.
