How to pull out my little brothers loose tooth?

Ok my brother broke his tooth in half 3 days ago. The other half is very loose and looks like it can come out with a nudge that wont hert. But it wont a simple nudge wont do it...And we dont want to apply to much pressure to hurt him. My dad says to pull it out hard but we dont want to hurt him. So how do we get it out. I need anyones help but we dont want to hurt him at all. So if anyone can help me it would be wonderful. Please help us!! thank you

Somebody needs to punch him in the mouth. That's how me and my brothers would lossen up baby teeth with each other, even my sister would get a few punches in!

Reply:Take him to the dentist where they can numb it to pull it. The tooth can die if it is broken and could also become infected. If it isn't otherwise ready to be pulled I would take him to the dentist. Good luck poor guy.
Reply:Could do what our grandparents always said they had done to them, string on the tooth to the door knob...LOL JK dont you dare do that. But its still gonna hurt. I say get to the dentist and let them do it right. That way they can minimize the pain to him and theres no lasting effects if done at home.Just and idea is all.

Reply:Here's what I always did with my girls when they were small and had a loose toothe....


I told them I needed to dry off their tooth to see just ho;w loose it was, then I got a dry washcloth and used it to grip the tooth, made them look up at the ceiling while I was "drying" off the tooth. Then I would grip the tooth the best I could with the washcloth adn yank it out. If it didn't come out then w;th the first pull, I took them to the dentist or made them eat an apple. Usaually it came right out. Good luck to you and the lil man!!
Reply:Fast is good. Grip and rip, then hand the kid a piece of candy. Candy fixes alot of trauma
Reply:Needle nose pliers thats how much first one was pulled out, hurts for a second. Apples, corn on the cob they all could hurt or you can just let it work itself out
Reply:Omg why the hell would u resort to force... Just let him live with it for a while and it will drop by itself. This method is neither painful or bloody.

Please don't try to pull it out for him, let him see a dentist or- even better- an oral surgeon. When it gets pulled out the whole tooth needs to come out, including the roots. Unless you have the proper instruments you could leave fragments behind that could cause an infection!
