Has anyone every pulled out there own tooth ..that was loose .or that was painful ??

my partner had a loose tooth very loose so got the pliers on it and out it popped ,,it healed up quicker than it would of done going to a dentist ..and yes he did sterilise the pliers!!

My wife took quite a few of hers out herself before she finally had them all pulled out. She had gum problems tho and all her teeth started getting loose when she was about to start high school. She wouldn't leave them alone and stop wiggling them. They got so loose she took some out with just her fingers or a piece of floss. It wasn't long before she had hardly any teeth left so she had the rest pulled out and got fake ones when she was 15. No problems after that tho.
Reply:Yeah my husband pulled my out last week. The pain went straight away and it has healed now.
Reply:Yup..it was a lot quicker than waiting for the dentist, no needles jammed into the roof of my mouth, and the bleeding stopped in a few minutes.
Reply:yes and yes it did hurt,but not as much as if the dentist had done it. you have a higher pain threshold if you do things to yourself, rather than other ppl doing things to you xx
Reply:very loose? then why did he need pliers? i pulled out my loose teeth too, but they were only baby teeth, and not that painful. it bled alot, but it was easy as could be to pull
Reply:My stepson never goes to the dentist because he's too scared, and he's terrified of needles. When he had a loose, bad tooth he dug it out with a pen top, then used salt to stop any infection. There's no way I could do that.





On a different note, I read a story of an African woman who during a civil war got shot several times in her arm. The arm went gangrenous but she was unable to get any medical help. One day she pulled at it and it came off. She survived to tell the tale and started a small business to provide for her children.
Reply:lol. don't do that until your tooth is very lose. i twisted mines all around because i thought it was ready. if you want it to come out really fast try eating something. something u can sink your teeth in to. (nooo i don't mean candy) but something thats good for you
Reply:Yes after pressing the tooth towards the back of my mouth just a crack and out it came, no pain

Reply:Kite string 5 foot long tied to a big sturdy wooden door with big door handle, with the other end attached to the tooth with a little slack. Let out a good scream and slam the door shut!!!!!!
Reply:I hooked a 10lb fishing line to my loose tooth and tied that to a 20lb weight. I dropped the weight. The line snapped and my tooth didn't come out. The 20lb weight landed on my foot and broke my big toe.
